Hi!
First of all let me say thanks for this great piece of winamp-enhancement.
I like the software a lot. The name does not sound that great;) But it's okay.
(I'm doing software myself and know that inventing names can be harder than coding)
The name doesn't really describe what it does: Tabs! It's like a lyrics\/karaoke plugin for guitar.

My greatest wish is for the next release: Saving of the chord-data!! Lookups are taking quite a long time;)

Hope this comment  is a bit helpful.
Chords can simply be denoted as letters above tabs, but tabs say so much more. Especially to those who are learning an instrument.
Well, I've seen that you can change the Instrument in EasyChords, but I think nothing happened by that.

By the way: "The Incredible Tabber" would be one of my favored names for this tool ;D
Thanks guys! So you think "tabs" are better than "chords"?

Royal, before changing the instrument, have you tried changing the chord volume?
Oh, that' for volume, thanks.
I think I misinterpreted this section, thought it would change the display from Guitar tabs to keys.
xben007 had a good idea -- to show a tiny speaker next to this slider.
I think the name does not accurately describe the program, just because it's not that easy to get the chords :) (compared to looking them up). a more accurate name would be: "Super-cool-chords". But then again, such a program really deserves a better... more original name, no offence, but easy chords isn't a very unique name :) (though bound to catch anyway)
Thanks asaph. You don't think "Super-cool-chords" would be overselling it a bit? :)
I guess it is ::)

but seriously, you need a cool mythic name or something... or name it after j.s bach... or that guy who invented the piano...
I think EasyChords is the perfect name already. The software has to do an incredibly difficult task to predict correct chords but the result should be "easy chords" without jazzy enhancements just to get the right key\/feeling\/tonality for a song. It might be that "easy" gives not enough credit for the great job, maybe "Simply Chords" is an alternative, however with "EasyChords" the name was already born ;)
Thanks Jaco!
