Title bar: Winamp 5.32: winamp.exe - Unable To Locate Component
In Box: This application has failed to start because MFC71.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I reinstalled 4 times, with three different downloads (locations, in case they were corrupt files.) Still no luck. I can probably dig up the DLL but what's causing this?
So, what did you reinstall? Winamp or EasyChords? Or maybe Windows?
You can get the missing dll for example at the following location: http:\/\/www.dll-files.com\/dllindex\/dll-files.shtml?mfc71

(normally it should be contained in your Windows\\\\System32 Folder)

MFC is one of Microsofts dynamic libraries for displaying graphical user interface elements (Windows, Buttons aso...)
RoyalPulp is right, but we don't use MFC in the plugin, and I don't think Winamp does.

Did the problem go away after you placed the downloaded  mfc71.dll in system32?
I was wrong, the plugin does need MFC71.DLL. Will fix this in the next version.
Sorry for the long delay, it DID in fact fix it. Thanks for the help!
Any time!
Gene:

Just installed Easy Chords.\302\240 How to I get winamp to show the Easy Chord window?

Thanks.
Hi hlk,

Thanks for trying the plugin. The Easy Chords window should have appeared when Winamp was restarted during installation. If you restart it again and the Easy Chords window still doesn't appear, please let me know, I would like to walk you through some simple troubleshooting steps.
